Our Club welcomes members from throughout Christian County including, Billings, Clever, Fremont Hills, Highlandville, Nixa, Ozark Republic, Saddlebrooke, Sparta and Spokane.
NOW is the time to join and get active! There are many ways to volunteer. Our goal is to provide accurate, and diverse educational opportunities regarding political issues that affect our community. We want to provide opportunities to take action to get Democrat candidates at the county and state level elected and to speak out about issues that matter to YOU!
We hold postcard writing parties, gatherings to foster community, educational opportunities to understand how local, county and state government works and town halls to have our voices heard.
One of the best ways to support our candidates is to have a Democrat Headquarters right here in Christian County for meetings, activism, social events, fundraising, and work to get our Democrat Candidates elected.
Send us a note with questions, how to join, and how to take action!
We are a group of Christian County residents concerned with the political activities in our area. We work hand in hand with our Democratic Central Committee and other community groups to inform and engage in civil discourse about current issues for Christian County.

Bill #: HB 1579 (Amato)
CALL TO ACTION- Call your state representative, submit testimony
Short Description: Establishes and modifies provisions relating to the adoption of
children
Status of the Bill: Scheduled for a Hearing on Tuesday, March 25th at 8:00 AM in the House Children
and Families Committee.
Talking points:
Link to the summary of the bill: Introduced
Call to action: Submit testimony
Bill #: HB 544 (Diehl)
Short Description: Allows pesticide manufacturers to advise users of their products of their safety or
hazards based on Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) required warning labels.
Status of the Bill: This Bill has been perfected Referred to Agriculture, Food Protection and Outdoor
Services
Talking points:
This bill would put the financial interests of pesticide manufacturers above the well-being of
Missouri residents by hampering the public’s right to know the potential hazards and risks of their
products- information that is currently required under state law
This bill would protect manufacturers of potentially harmful chemicals from being sued for the
harm their products cause Missouri residents by providing the manufacturers a diluted duty to
warn of the hazards of using their product
Federal EPA required warnings are inadequate because these warnings are largely based on safety
studies conducted by the pesticide companies themselves, who have a vested interest in skewing
the results to make it appear that they are unaware of the real hazards of their products
The bill would prevent an individual’s right to a fair trial as provided under our constitution.
Link to the summary of the bill: HB 544
Contact your representative HERE to OPPOSE this bill.
Bill #: SB 152 (Ben Brown)
Short Description: This bill creates restrictions and mandates compliance regarding
contributions of foreign nationals to Missouri Statewide ballot measures.
Status of the Bill: 3/24/2025 - Formal Calendar S Bills for perfection
Talking points:
This makes ballot measure campaigns more expensive (and more susceptible to the
influence of money) by increasing compliance costs
This includes language about foreign nationals & "indirectly" influencing a campaign. This is a vague term and subject to abuse
